GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)

The new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into effect on May 25, 2018. This regulation aims to give European residents control over their personal data.

GDPR is based on three key principles to be aware of:

  1. User Rights: You have the right to access and erase your data upon request. To comply with these principles and respect the rights of our customers, LANDERS has implemented several procedures. You can, by a simple email request to dpo@landers.fr, request the complete deletion of your data, inquire about the data we have, unsubscribe, or file a complaint, with a response within 48 hours.

  2. Transparency: We inform you that we collect your data for commercial reasons. We use your data (email only) to send you newsletters, inform you about our promotions, commercial events, and keep you updated about LANDERS' developments.

  3. Data Responsibility: As the data controller, we have secured all our web pages with HTTPS, providing optimal security against hacking. Multiple security levels are in place to detect any attacks, and a team of 5 developers works every day to improve our websites. Additionally, information is stored in encrypted form, and we use BNP's 3D SECURE security for payments.

In summary, the information collected about you is subject to processing for the following purposes:

  • Newsletters
  • Information about LANDERS
  • Promotions on the website

The recipients of this data are our Data Protection Officer (DPO), our sales, and accounting departments. The data retention period is 10 years.

You have the right to access, rectify, port, erase, or limit the processing of your data. You can also object to the processing of your data and have the right to withdraw your consent at any time by contacting dpo@landers.fr. You have the option to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
